Abstract
This study examines the integration of CUBES' Performance Management, Risk Management, and Enterprise Wallet with ARIS for business process management, developed by Software AG. The focus is on how these tools collectively enhance governance by providing a unified platform that enables seamless access to and management of key performance indicators (KPIs), risks, and business processes. The integration supports strategic alignment, regulatory compliance, and efficient decision-making within an organizational context.
Introduction
Effective governance requires efficient management of performance, risks, and processes. Organizations often face challenges with fragmented systems, making it difficult to gain a comprehensive view of governance activities. This fragmentation complicates access to critical information and can lead to compliance gaps and inefficiencies. This study explores a solution that integrates CUBES' suite of tools—specifically the Performance Management, Risk Management, and Enterprise Wallet modules—with ARIS, a leading business process management software by Software AG. This integration offers a comprehensive, real-time view of governance activities, improving control, compliance, and strategic alignment.
Research Objective
The primary objective of this study is to demonstrate how the integration of these technologies can improve governance by centralizing data, enhancing access to critical information, and enabling informed decision-making. The study illustrates how governance experts can leverage this integration to maintain oversight across multiple departments, ensuring that all operations align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Methodology
This study employs a case-based approach, focusing on the role of a governance expert within a multinational corporation. The governance expert utilizes the integrated system to manage performance metrics, assess risks, and optimize business processes. The case study details the functionalities of each tool and their contributions to the overarching governance framework.
